1. Câu Bị Động Là Gì?

Câu bị động là câu mà trong đó, chủ ngữ (Subject) là người hoặc vật nhận hoặc chịu tác động của hành động, thay vì là người/vật thực hiện hành động như trong câu chủ động (Active Voice).

Ví dụ:
Active: My father built this house in 1990. (Bố tôi đã xây ngôi nhà này vào năm 1990.)
Passive: This house was built in 1990 (by my father). (Ngôi nhà này đã được xây vào năm 1990 (bởi bố tôi).)

2. Khi Nào Dùng Câu Bị Động?

• Khi không biết hoặc không muốn đề cập đến người/vật thực hiện hành động. (Ví dụ: My bike was stolen last night.)
• Khi muốn nhấn mạnh vào đối tượng chịu tác động của hành động. (Ví dụ: The new bridge will be opened next month.)
• Khi người thực hiện hành động là hiển nhiên. (Ví dụ: The criminal was arrested.)
  Trong văn phong trang trọng, khoa học, khách quan. (Ví dụ: The results were analyzed.)

3. Công Thức Cơ Bản & Cách Chuyển Đổi

Công thức chung: S + be + Past Participle (V3/V-ed) + (by + O)

Các bước chuyển đổi:

Xác định Tân ngữ (O) trong câu chủ động -> Chuyển thành Chủ ngữ (S) trong câu bị động.

Xác định Động từ (V) trong câu chủ động -> Chuyển thành be + V3/V-ed. Chia động từ be theo thì của câu chủ động và theo chủ ngữ mới.

Xác định Chủ ngữ (S) trong câu chủ động -> Chuyển thành by + O trong câu bị động (có thể bỏ qua nếu không quan trọng hoặc không xác định).

Mẹo “Vàng” Khi Làm Bài Tập Câu Bị Động

• Xác định S-V-O: Luôn tìm đúng Chủ ngữ – Động từ – Tân ngữ trong câu chủ động.
• Chia ‘be’ chuẩn xác: Đây là chìa khóa! Động từ ‘be’ phải hợp thì với câu gốc và hợp ngôi với chủ ngữ mới.
• Thuộc lòng V3: Nắm vững bảng động từ bất quy tắc là bắt buộc.
