Bài 1: Chọn đáp án đúng nhất để hoàn thành câu gián tiếp.

1/ My boss said, “I need to talk to you about the project now.”

a. My boss said he needed to talk to me about the project then.

b. My boss said he needs to talk to me about the project now.

c. My boss said he needed to talk to me about the project now.

2/ She told me, “I have lived here for five years.”

a. She told me she has lived there for five years.

b. She told me she had lived there for five years.

c. She told me she had lived here for five years.

3/ The man said, “I came here to see my doctor yesterday.”

a. The man said he had come there to see his doctor the previous day.

b. The man said he came here to see his doctor yesterday.

c. The man said he would come there to see his doctor today.

2. Bài Tập Về Câu Gián Tiếp Dạng Câu Hỏi (Question)

Bài 2: Chuyển các câu hỏi trực tiếp Yes/No sau sang câu gián tiếp.

1. He asked the little girl, “Are you afraid of dogs?”
2. The receptionist asked me, “Is the manager available?”
3. My father asked, “Did you remember to lock the door?”
4. She asked, “Will you be home for dinner tonight?”
5. They asked us, “Have you ever traveled abroad?”

Bài 3: Chuyển các câu hỏi có từ để hỏi (Wh-questions) sang câu gián tiếp.

1. He asked me, “How old are you?”
2. She asked the group, “Who is responsible for this task?”

3. Bài Tập Về Câu Gián Tiếp Dạng Câu Mệnh Lệnh (Commands)

Bài 4: Chuyển các câu mệnh lệnh sau sang câu gián tiếp.

1. The doctor said to me, “Take these pills three times a day.”
2. The sign said, “Do not feed the animals.”
3. My mom told me, “Please don’t forget to buy some milk.”
4. He said to his friend, “Lend me your book.”
5. She said to the children, “Be quiet.”

Bài 1: Câu Kể (Chọn đáp án)

1/ a. My boss said he needed to talk to me about the project then. (Lùi thì need -> needed; đổi now -> then)

2/ b. She told me she had lived there for five years. (Lùi thì have lived -> had lived; đổi here -> there)

3/ a. The man said he had come there to see his doctor the previous day. (Lùi thì came -> had come; đổi here -> there, yesterday -> the previous day)

Bài 2: Câu Hỏi Yes/No

1. He asked the little girl if she was afraid of dogs.
2. The receptionist asked me if the manager was available.
3. My father asked if I had remembered to lock the door.
4. She asked if I would be home for dinner that night.
5. They asked us if we had ever traveled abroad.

Bài 3: Câu Hỏi Wh-words

1. He asked me how old I was.
2. She asked the group who was responsible for that task.
3. They asked me when I had bought that car.
4. My friend asked why I was looking so worried.
5. The tour guide asked which monument we would like to visit first.

Bài 4: Câu Mệnh Lệnh

1. The doctor advised me to take those pills three times a day.
2. The sign told people not to feed the animals.
3. My mom reminded me not to forget to buy some milk.
4. He asked his friend to lend him his book.
5. She told the children to be quiet.

6. Bài Tập Nâng Cao: Viết Lại Câu

Bài 5: Chuyển các câu trực tiếp sau sang câu gián tiếp.

1. “I didn’t steal the money,” said the boy.
2. “What did you do with the money?” the police asked him.
3. “I haven’t seen her since last Monday,” he said.
4. “We are having a party here tomorrow,” they told me.
5. “I’m leaving in five minutes,” she said to her colleague.

Đáp án:

1. The boy said that he hadn’t stolen the money.
2. The police asked him what he had done with the money.
3. He said he hadn’t seen her since the previous Monday.
4. They told me that they were having a party there the next day.

5. She told her colleague that she was leaving in five minute
